Michael Eric Dyson's What Truth Sounds Like book tour
with Harry Belafonte and Shaun King
The New School | June 4, 2018
Dr. Dyson, activist Shaun King, and the "King of Calypso" Harry Belafonte gather at The New School for an engaging discussion regarding the pivotal meeting about race relations and policy that occurred in spring 1963 between Robert F. Kennedy, James Baldwin, Lena Horne, Lorraine Hansberry, and young activist Jerome Smith.
To sit mere feet from these giants as they discussed the dis-ease in America was awe-inspiring and motivational. We cannot make light of the plight of our people. We must continue to fight. I also highly recommend reading Dyson's book!
