Waiting for God(ot) on September 23rd because… rapture. Oh, you didn't hear about the viral prediction on TikTok that the rapture would occur on September 23-24th? #RaptureTok
Ironically enough, the play is a tragicomedy about two friends, Vladimir (Alex Winter) and Estragon (Keanu Reeves), that wait by a tree for someone named Godot, who they believe will bring meaning or change to their lives, and the mysterious man never shows up. Even more ironic that the 23rd is Rosh Hashanah.
Art imitates religion.
