I used to sneak and watch The Tonight Show with Jay Leno when I was a kid. God has a funny way of making my childhood dreams come true! Snagging a ticket to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is hard to get, but ya girl got to step inside Studio 6B - no photos or videos allowed! And I sat in seat #217 (HA!), second row with a clear view!
Tonight’s guests include: Cynthia Erivo (Wicked), Leslie Bibb (Palm Royale), Tom Freston (one of the Founding Members and CEO of Viacom's MTV Networks from 1987–2004), and musical guest Nora Fatehi ft. Shenseea.
Funny tidbit about the musical guest portion… they shot the performance three times. I personally think the second take was the best!
They also did an interview with Ed Sheeran (we didn’t know he was there until right before he came out) and Philip Barantini, the Emmy-winning director of the single-take Netflix series Adolescence. That segment will air on Thanksgiving. Ed and Jimmy did this amazing one-shot take backstage before singing a Thanksgiving song. Bravo to the crew cause the execution was flawless! It was to promote his new Netflix music special One Shot that will be released on November 21st.
