There are so many great plays on Broadway this season!
Aigner Mizzelle and Okieriete Onaodowan go head to head in The Monsters. I love how they explored sibling estrangement, reconnecting as adults, the trauma and memories that shaped them, and their shared competitiveness in mixed martial arts. The physicality of their roles and just looking at them makes me want to go harder in the gym! ijs
And the lighting, especially during the timeline jumps and during the boxing ring scenes… chef’s kiss! It’s a motivational MUST SEE!
