The Fear of 13

Y’all know I LOVE a great matinee! The Fear of 13 is a MUST SEE! Two hours. No intermission. I sat front row center on the edge of my seat as two-time Academy Award winner Adrien Brody and Golden Globe and Emmy Award nominee Tessa Thompson (both making their Broadway debut) take on the devastating true crime story of Nick Yarris who spent 22 years on death row in Pennsylvania after being wrongfully convicted of rape and murder. He was finally exonerated by DNA testing in 2003.
The acting is exceptionally masterful. The storytelling is gripping and heartbreaking, especially if you didn’t know anything about Nick’s story… and the miscarriage of justice will PISS you off! Our “justice system” is so broken.
