I had the opportunity to sit front row at Liberation tonight! It’s such an empowering and poignant performance. It quickly draws you in and really makes you think about all the things women have gone through and continue to go through... just to be a woman in this world.
Because the play contains nudity, we had to lock our phones in Yondr pouches, so no curtain call footage. It’s definitely a must-see, and I can easily see it winning Best Play! WE NEED MORE OF THIS ON BROADWAY! Bess Wohl, I can't wait to see what's next!

After the play, I took a walk through Times Square. I needed to process my own thoughts about feminism and freedom. My life and my single and childfree by choice lifestyle. The complexities of self-determination, social change, and societal expectations. And the systemic struggle, stark reality, and revolutionary idealism in all of it. (Wo)Man, I really hope Liberation wins Best Play. They deserve it!
Today is All Saints' Day and Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Holidays that commemorate those who have departed this earthly realm and attained... Liberation. How synchronistically befitting.
